The Elephants are Arriving!

This summer, Waterside Quarter is proud to be part of the Trunks across the Thames art trail.

Visit between 13th July – 13th September to spot our elephant, “Never Forget”, then follow the trail across Maidenhead, Slough, Eton and Windsor to find the rest of the herd!

Trunks across the Thames is Thames Hospice’s very first art trail which will see businesses, schools, community groups and artists unite to create a free, fun, family-friendly trail of discovery for the local community to explore and enjoy.

Your donations make a BIG difference.

More and more people are living with life-limiting conditions and need specialist care to help them have the best quality of life, to the end of life. The care, delivered at Thames Hospice and in people’s homes, supports the physical, emotional and social needs of every patient and their loved ones.

The care is free at the point of use, but unlike the NHS, the Thames Hospice is not fully government funded. They need £39,000 each day to care for local families who need their vital support. Their care is only made possible thanks to the generosity of the local community – every donation, gift in Will, charity shop purchase and events like Trunks across the Thames makes a difference.

Thames Hospice are committed to ensuring they are always a place of hope and dedicated to providing care and support to all those who need them, when and where they need it, today and for generations to come.
