Waterside Quarter is delighted to announce the winner of our Trunks across the Thames colouring competition, which has now come to a close.
We were thrilled to receive so many fantastic entries from talented young artists across the community. The creativity and imagination on display made choosing a winner incredibly difficult, and we’d like to thank everyone who took the time to enter.
After much deliberation, 8-year-old Sisi’s artwork was selected as the winning entry. Her beautiful design, combined with its inspiring and thoughtful messages, truly stood out to the judging panel.
We felt the themes conveyed in the artwork were particularly meaningful and relevant today, making it a deserving winner.
As the competition champion, Sisi has been awarded a £100 voucher to spend at a Waterside Quarter venue of her choice.
The colouring competition formed part of our involvement with the Trunks across the Thames art trail, and we were proud to support this wonderful fundraising initiative. Throughout the summer, our resident elephant sculpture brought smiles and joy to visitors of all ages at Waterside Quarter, becoming a much-loved feature for guests exploring the many restaurants, bars and cafés.
The trail has also helped raise funds for Thames Hospice, supporting the vital care and services they provide to local people and families.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our elephant, took part in the competition, and supported Trunks across the Thames. Congratulations once again to Sisi, and we look forward to welcoming you all back to Waterside Quarter soon.
