The Artisan Uprising Launches New Market at Waterside Quarter
Waterside Quarter has officially welcomed an exciting new addition to its vibrant riverside destination with the launch of The Artisan Uprising’s Artisan and Farmers Market, which made its successful debut on Sunday 6 April.
Set against the backdrop of some of Maidenhead’s most popular eateries – Presto, Cocoba Chocolate Café, Bombay Story and ToMo Tankovna—the new market attracted a fantastic turnout of shoppers keen to explore a curated mix of artisanal food, handmade goods, and sustainable products.
The first event created a lively, community-focused atmosphere, as visitors browsed stalls featuring everything from handcrafted candles and eco-friendly seeds to small-batch baked goods and gourmet treats. The market provides a fresh platform for local makers, artists, and independent producers to showcase their work, while giving shoppers the chance to discover something truly unique.
Jodie Anderton, founder of The Artisan Uprising, shared her enthusiasm following the launch:

The Artisan and Farmers Market will now take place on the first and third Sunday of every month, from 10am to 3pm, offering a regular opportunity to shop sustainably and support independent traders in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
