El Cerdo Introduce New Head Chef!
El Cerdo is thrilled to announce the arrival of Chef Fermin Mendoza as its new Head Chef, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the restaurant. With more than 20 years of experience across top restaurants in Spain and the UK, including the three‑Michelin‑star Restaurante Arzak, Chef Mendoza will bring exceptional expertise to the El Cerdo team.
Originally from Spain, Chef Mendoza began his career in Madrid and has since developed a style that blends traditional Spanish flavours with modern creativity. His appointment will further strengthen El Cerdo’s growing reputation for delivering authentic Spanish dining with a contemporary edge.
Chef Mendoza will unveil his first Spring/Summer menu on 17 April, showcasing seasonal ingredients, bold flavours, and fresh interpretations of Spanish classics.
El Cerdo’s Operations Director, Lynne Moran, said: “To have a chef of Fermin’s calibre is a new chapter for us and is going to drive the culinary concept forward to new levels, elevating the food and our customers’ dining experience.”
